FESTIVAL DEL FILM LOCARNO
The Locarno del Film Festival is an annual event, where more than 160.000 viewers have the possibility to meet every year at the beginning of August to support the international independent film. For a few days, the little town in Switzerland becomes the centerpiece of the author film. The festivals´purpose is to promote new talents and we mustn´t forget that some of the most famous directors in the world made their debut in Locarno, such as Milos Forman, Chen Kaige or Pedro Costa.
